Today, I went to lunch with some folks in the office. The Google cafeteria is on the 27th floor of the building. As we walked in, one of the guys excitedly pointed to a window and said "hey, Mt. Fuji is visible today!" I guess this is not an everyday occurrence. Sure enough, there in the distance was the snow covered Fuji! It was a little difficult to see, not because of size, but because the sky was slightly overcast, which made the snow-covered mountain blend with the sky. Combine that with my lack of photography skills (and probably not the best equipment) and you get a... maybe hazy at best view of the mountain.
We took a table by the window and ate lunch while glancing out at this beautiful mountain!
But to start off, here's a view out the window, of a garden 26 stories below!
And now to the mountain!
You've got to strain to see it, but it's just to the right of center, kind of blended with the sky. If TV is any guide, you're going to want to zoom in and enhance.
Another try. Again, it's very faint, but pretty much centered in the picture. I wish I could get a better shot. I was fighting the sun and a cheap camera.
